Depending on how you interact with the website, we may collect: name, email address and message via the contact form; name, phone number, email and message via the application form; your consent to receive further information if you tick the box provided; the content of the messages you send to the website's chat assistant.

This data is used to: respond to your enquiries; process your application and support you through the admissions process; send you information about CANVAS if you have consented to it; generate a relevant reply when you use the website's chat assistant.

Depending on the case, your data is processed on the basis of pre-contractual measures taken at your request (applications), CANVAS's legitimate interest in responding to enquiries addressed to it, or your consent (newsletter, chat assistant), in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for individuals residing in the European Union.

Your data may be shared with the following technical providers, strictly to the extent necessary for the website to function: Vercel Inc. (website hosting), Neon, Inc. (database hosting), Resend (notification emails) and Google LLC, via its Gemini service (generating chat assistant replies — only the content of the message you send it). These providers do not use your data for any purpose other than the one they are engaged for.

Your data is kept for as long as necessary to process your enquiry or application, and is then archived or deleted in accordance with applicable legal requirements. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see “Your rights” below).
